1. Master the Protego Shield – Timing Is Everything

In Hogwarts Legacy, blocking is just as important as attacking. The Protego spell creates a shield that can block most incoming spells and physical attacks. However, its true power lies in the perfect Protego – a well-timed block just as an enemy's attack is about to land. This not only negates damage but also stuns the attacker, leaving them open for a powerful counter. Practice the timing in the early game against basic foes like spiders and goblins to build muscle memory.

2. Use Stupefy to Gain the Upper Hand

After a perfect Protego, you can unleash Stupefy – a quick, powerful stun that knocks enemies back and leaves them vulnerable. Chain this with a heavy attack or a combo of spells for massive damage. In boss fights, using Stupefy repeatedly is key to interrupting their attacks and creating windows to unleash your strongest magic.
